Welcome to my teaching portfolio! In this section you will find my current resume that includes my National Evaluations Series Educator Certification Test scores. My time clock for my student teaching hours for the Fall Semester is presented. I have included my lesson plans that show growth from the beginning of my student teaching to the end of the first semester, and touch on how I am addressing Domain 2 and 3 on New Mexico Teach. These lesson plans include my reflections for each lesson on what I can do to improve or how the lesson could have gone better. I have included feedback from my mentor teacher within those reflections and additional feedback from my embedded faculty member on my observations throughout my Fall Student Teaching Semester. Finally, I have included activities I have participated in outside the classroom. Join me in exploring my journey and experiences student teaching!

Lesson Plans
In this section, you will find lesson plans I have implemented in class with supporting material such as Powerpoints I have used. My lesson plans demonstrate growth from the amount of information added to different sections and deeper reflections than at the beginning. The images of my embedded faculty's feedback demonstrate my growth as well. Finally, I have included some student work on the overall semester.

Domain 2 on the New Mexico Teach focuses on creating an environment for Learning. Educators must demonstrate an environment of respect, rapport, and creates a culture for learning. Classroom management, organizing physical space, and managing student behavior is also included.

Beyond the Classroom
Teaching is just one part of being a teacher. There are activities we do as teachers to involve ourselves within the community. Here are some of the things I did during my first semester at Rio Grande High School.
I attended Open House at the beginning of the semester and was able to meet some of the parents
Every first Tuesday of the month, I would help and assist with the Road Runner Food Bank.
I was an AVID Tutor for Rio Grande as well. I was there every Tuesday from 7:30 am - 10:15 am and every Wednesday 8:30 am- 10:15 am
Among other things, I attended a Rio Grande Volleyball game, a football game, saw the ending to Dramapalooza, and tutored several students outside of AVID!
